Practitioner Guide
Essential guidelines for handling, storing, and administering peptide products. For licensed healthcare professionals only.
Materials Needed
Bacteriostatic water (BAC water), alcohol swabs, insulin syringes (29-31 gauge), and the lyophilized peptide vial.
Step 1: Preparation
Wash hands thoroughly. Clean the rubber stopper of both the peptide vial and BAC water vial with alcohol swabs. Allow to air dry.
Step 2: Draw BAC Water
Using an insulin syringe, slowly draw the appropriate amount of BAC water. The standard reconstitution volume is typically 1-2mL depending on the peptide concentration desired.
Step 3: Add Water to Peptide
Insert the needle into the peptide vial at an angle, letting the water run down the inside wall of the vial. DO NOT squirt directly onto the lyophilized powder as this can damage the peptide.
Step 4: Gentle Mixing
Gently swirl the vial in a circular motion. Never shake vigorously. Allow the peptide to dissolve completely — this may take a few minutes.
